Engaged Couple Killed In Double-Fatal Hit-Run Crash By PA Man On THC: DA An engaged couple, both parents and expecting a grandchild, were struck and killed in a hit-and-run crash while an Allentown driver was high on marijuana, authorities announced on Tuesday, Dec. 17. Imanol Caraballo, 23, is charged with homicide by vehicle while DUI, homicide by vehicle, and other related offenses for the crash that killed Christopher Stocker, 44, and Luz Daneza Ruiz Acosta, 43, both of Allentown. Crews Battle Blaze In Allentown First responders were called to an apartment building in Allentown for a three-alarm fire on Monday evening, July 8.  The blaze broke out on the 1100 block of Hamilton Street around 5:30 p.m., said firefighters. Crews were still on the scene as late as 10:30 p.m., according to city fire officials.  Photos from the scene showed heavy smoke and visible flames from a row building block containing apartments and businesses on the ground floor.  Emergency crews are currently operating in the 1100blk of Hamilton Street. Coroner IDs Pedestrian Killed In Allentown Crash Officials have named the 42-year-old man who was fatally struck by a car in Allentown on Tuesday, June 25.  Li-Qiang Hu was hit around 10 p.m. on the 2000 block of Hamilton Street, according to city police. Authorities said they found him with "serious injuries" and rendered aid at the scene before taking him to an area hospital.  Hu, of South Arlington Township in Lackawanna County, succumbed to his injuries around 2 a.m. Wednesday, June 26, said the Lehigh County Coroner's Office.
