7-Eleven To Close Hundreds Of Stores
Convenience store chain 7-Eleven is closing hundreds of stores in North America. Parent company Seven & I Holdings said that the 444 locations were “underperforming.” They make up about 3 percent of 7-Eleven's total of around 13,000 outlets in the US, Canada, and Mexico. What could be one of the most active hurricane seasons ever now has its first named storm. Tropical Storm Alberto formed late Wednesday morning, June 19 as it moved across the western Gulf of Mexico. Heavy rain, coastal flooding, and gusty winds are forecast along the coasts of Texas and northeastern Mexico through Thursday, June 20. Tropical Storm Warnings have been issued in those areas.
