Foster Homes Needed For 30 Animals Seized From Berks County Home Rescue officials are desperate for help after 30 animals were seized from a home in Berks County. The Department of Animal Protection from the Animal Rescue League of Berks County was performing a wellness check when they removed 22 dogs, three cats, five snakes, and two geckos were removed from a home in Womelsdorf on Wednesday, Oct. 9. 36 Animals Including Bull, Chickens Rescued From School Bus Trailer In PA, SPCA Says Thirty birds, four dogs, one bull, and one pony were removed from a school bus and trailer in Adams County over the weekend, according to the SPCA.  Eastern Adams Regional police called SPCA members to Hanover Street and Red Hill Road on Saturday night, the organization said in a release.  Police had discovered the animals in the bus and accompanying trailer after arresting the driver on out-of-state warrants, officials said.
