Directly across from a cemetery, someone was struck by a vehicle, Lititz police announced on Sunday, July 7. The crash happened at the intersection of South Broad Street/PA Route 501 and East Third Avenue around 2:16 p.m. on June 27, Lititz Borough of Police detailed in the release. The driver was "attempting to turn left onto South Broad Street from East Third Avenue [and] failed to yield to the right-of-way of a pedestrian crossing the street in the crosswalk," the police stated in the release. An adjunct professor and author from Lancaster, PA who always wanted to go hiking in New Hampshire was rescued while hiking in NH on Monday, New Hampshire Fish and Game announced on Tuesday, July 2. Cordelia Moyse, 60 of Lancaster, Pennsylvania slipped and injured her leg while hiking the Wentworth Trail of Mount Israel in Sandwich New Hampshire on July 1. Three people were killed in a two-vehicle crash on US Route 1 outside Media on Tuesday morning, according to officials. The crash happened on US Rt 1 South near the ramp to Route 252 (Providence Road) around 8 a.m. on July 2, authorities say. The driver of a transit van and two passengers have died, said the Delaware County District Attorney's Office. Their identities were not given. A driver was extricated from their car and sent to an area hospital after a multi-car accident in Feasterville on Wednesday, June 26. Feasterville fire officials said the crash happened on East Street Road near the ACME at 8 p.m. Crews were en route to the scene within a minute and were able to remove the driver from their vehicle, officials said. Trooper Rear-Ended By Tractor Trailer On I-76 In Philadelphia
A Pennsylvania State Police trooper was hospitalized after being struck by a tractor trailer on I-76 overnight in Philadelphia, police said. The officer was conducting stationary work enforcement in the westbound lanes with his emergency lights fully activated near milepost 340.5 in Philadelphia, when he was struck around 3:50 a.m., a spokesperson for the agency said. The trooper sustained moderate injuries as a result of the impact and was taken by Philadelphia Fire and EMS to the hospital for further evaluation.

A construction worker fell from the scaffolding on the exterior of the ninth floor of a building in Pittsburgh on Thursday, May 30, officials with the office of public safety announced later that morning.
