1 Hospitalized After Train Strikes Vehicle In Lancaster Co.: Authorities One person is in the hospital after their vehicle was struck by a train on Tuesday, July 30, a supervisor with Lancaster County Wide Communication told Daily Voice. The call to the train versus car collision at the railroad crossing in the 2500 block of Horse Road in Upper Leacock Township came into LCWC around 4 p.m. One person in the vehicle was taken to the hospital, and their injuries are reportedly minor.  The road was closed at 5:15 p.m. as emergency crews remained on the scene.

The victim was shot in the left side of the head in a third-floor recording studio, according to authorities. It happened on the 2600 block of Germantown Avenue just before 5 p.m.  He was taken to Temple University Hospital, police said. No arrests had been made and no weapons recovered as of 6 p.m. Friday.

Patrol Vehicle Crash Sends 1 To Hospital: Philadelphia PD An officer "operating a marked patrol vehicle was involved with a private vehicle", sending one person to the hospital on Monday morning, July 22, Philadelphia Police announced.  The crash happened in the 18th District, at 57th Street and Larchwood Avenue at 6:09 a.m., as stated in the release.  The officer was not injured, but the driver of the private vehicle was taken by Medic 9 to Jefferson Hospital for evaluation.  The scene is being held. PA State Police Car Catches Fire On Route 80 A PSP vehicle caught fire on a Luzerne County highway late Monday, July 15, according to officials.  The blaze happened on Route 80 near mile marker 272.1, said White Haven Fire Company. Man Airlifted After Vehicle Crashes With Ambulance Going To Emergency In South Jersey: Police A Pennsylvania man was airlifted to a hospital after a crash involving an ambulance heading to an emergency in Cape May County, authorities said. Middle Township police responded to the crash on Route 9 North at around 12:40 p.m. on Saturday, July 6, the department said in a news release.
