The community is rallying to support the family of a vibrant 19-year-old from Bergen County, NJ who tragically died in a car accident along Interstate 78 in Pennsylvania earlier this week. Ciarra Sanchez was heading east on I-78 in Upper Saucon Township when the vehicle veered off the road and struck a concrete bridge pillar on Monday, Nov. 11, according to Lehigh County Coroner Daniel Buglio. Coroner IDs Driver Killed When Car Overturns In Embankment In Lehigh County
A 66-year-old motorist was killed when their vehicle slid off the roadway and went down an embankment Saturday night, Oct. 5, officials said. Stephen La Pierre, of Upper Macungie Township, was operating the vehicle that went off the roadway on Tilghman Street and into an embankment, overturning and ejecting him around 10 p.m., Lehigh County Coroner Daniel Buglio said. The cause of death is Multiple Blunt Force Injuries. The manner of death is Accident.

Northampton Woman Killed After Crashing Into Tree In Heidelberg Township
A Northampton County woman was killed after her vehicle crashed into a tree on Wednesday, Oct. 2, according to authorities. Raquel M. Perez, 26, of Wilson Borough, was driving in the 5000 block of Route 309 in Heidelberg Township when her vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree at 3:38 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 2, Lehigh County Coroner Daniel Buglio said. A 30-year-old man was shot dead in Bethlehem, authorities told Daily Voice on Saturday, Sept. 28. Altaron Amir Robinson, of Allentown, was shot in the 1900 block of Butztown Road, Bethlehem at 9:29 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 26, the Lehigh County Coroner detailed. The shooting was near Governor Wolf Elementary School which closed Friday while police investigated the shooting. A 93-year-old woman died in her Upper Macungie home this week in what the Lehigh County Coroner is calling "the first reported heat-related death" of the season, as stated in a release on Friday, July 19. The woman was pronounced dead from hyperthermia at 11:24 a.m. on Thursday, July 18, according to the coroner's release. Allentown Man Killed The Mother Of His Children, Lehigh Jury Finds
A Lehigh County jury convicted Rami Abouloh for the murder of Patricia White, with whom he had four children, the District Attorney's Office said Friday, May 31. Abouloh, 41, is set to be sentenced in August. A conviction for first-degree murder is an automatic life sentence without the possibility of parole, according to prosecutors.
