Twin brothers caught stealing beer assaulted an officer in the Poconos, police announced on Friday, Sept. 13. Xaziver and Gabriel Valle, both 19-year-old Tobyhanna residents were arrested on Thursday, Sept. 12, Mountain Regional Police detailed in the release. A 22-year-old man from West Chester was arrested after striking an officer twice, authorities said. On Aug. 25, 2024, at about 2 a.m., West Chester Borough Police responded to the 100 block of West Gay Street, West Chester Borough, for a disturbance. A Philadelphia park ranger managed to capture a suspect shortly after being attacked with scissors, authorities said. Arrested was 34-year-old Thomas Riceman from Philadelphia. A man is in custody for firing a weapon in a Warrington home, township police said in a release on Monday, July 29. Safarie Xiong allegedly shot a gun in a residence on the 1200 Block of Palomino Drive on July 20, according to authorities.
