The chances of a white Christmas this year are looking slim, and the end of the year is looking wet.

Wintry weather will become snow in parts of Pennsylvania and northern Maryland Tuesday, Dec. 5, the National Weather Service says.
The Alberta Clipper formed in the Midwest on Monday, Dec. 4, and will exit over the mid-Atlantic on Tuesday night, Dec. 5, AccuWeather reports.

If you're looking to wish upon a shooting star, this is the weekend to do it.
The Northern Taurid — the second half of the Taurid Meteor Shower — peaks on Saturday, Nov. 11 and Sunday, Nov. 12, according to Space.com.
