A sedan got stuck under a Walmart tractor-trailer on Interstate 81 on Friday morning, authorities said.

The car was found crushed under the trailer near mile marker 13.5 on I-81 North around 4:35 a.m. on June 9, 2023, according to the Franklin Fire Company.

The car was totaled but the tractor-trailer only had minor damage, fire officials said.

The driver was able to wriggle out of the sedan before emergency crews arrived, according to Franklin Fire Company.

It is unclear if the driver suffered any injuries, and it is not known exactly how the car ended up in that position.
