A Pennsylvania carnival operator who ran games at local fairs while hiding his dark past as a convicted child predator has been sentenced to 15 years behind bars, court records reveal. Carnival Run By Sex Offender Has Pennsylvania State Police Searching For New Victims
A registered sex offender — who only abused children — secretly ran a carnival business in Pennsylvania and state police fear he may have new victims according to a release on Feb. 8. Richard Lee Ridley was convicted of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child in 1993 and 2006, as well as open lewdness in 2020 and harassment in 2023, according to the Pennsylvania State Police Megan's Law Sexual Offender Registry and court records. Mennonite Toddler ID'd After Fatal Train Strike In Central PA
A 15-months and 14-days-old boy has been identified after being struck by a Norfolk Southen Train on Thursday. Landis Sensenig Newswanger was hit by a Norfolk Southern train running along the tracks in his backyard in the 400 block of West Main Street, South Newton Township, Cumberland County at 10:04 a.m. on Dec. 7, according to state police and later identified in his obituary.
