Several Hurt In Back-To-Back, Septa-involved Accidents (Photos) At least seven people were injured in less than 24 hours in a pair of car crashes involving SEPTA buses, transit authorities told Daily Voice.  The first occurred around 7 p.m. on Tuesday in Haverford Township, a SEPTA spokesperson said. Officer Struck Breaking Up Drag Race In Philadelphia: Police A Philadelphia police officer has a broken ankle after being hit by a car while breaking up a street racing event early Sunday morning, the department told Daily Voice.  It happened on the 1300 block of North Broad Street around 1:45 a.m. on July 23, authorities said.  Some 500 "people and vehicles" were gathered on the road when officers arrived to disperse the crowd, according to investigators.
