York Man Shot In Fight Dies; Dad, Son Charged With Homicide: Authorities A father and his son have been charged with homicide in connection with a fatal shooting during a fight, authorities announced on Tuesday.  Jared Harpster, 35 of the 100 block of Long Lane in Newberry Township, was pronounced dead at WellSpan York Hospital at 1:09 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 24, according to the York County Coroner's Office.  Deputy Coroner Scott Pennewill was called to Wellspan York Hospital to investigate and certify his death. Student Shot Classmate Dead Outside PA School, Police Say One 15-year-old boy is dead and his peer has been arrested for his murder, police in Pittsburgh say.  Derrick Harris was fired upon 11 times in front of Oliver Citywide Academy around 7:25 a.m. on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, Pittsburgh police announced later that afternoon.  Police Zone 1 Units arrived to find Harris "shot multiple times outside Oliver Citywide Academy's front entrance.
