Missing Endangered Alert Issued For PA Woman
A missing Cheltenham woman may be in danger, according to an alert from the Cheltenham Township Police Department on Tuesday, Oct. 1. Madelyn Edwards, 81, was last seen in the area of Old Farm Road, Cheltenham Township at 12 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 30, police said. She's described as being 5 feet 6 inches tall, 110 pounds, with black hair, and brown eyes. Edwards was last seen driving a gray 2017 Hyundai Accent with Pennsylvania license plate MLJ-4374, according to police. Fatal 3-Vehicle Crash On PA Turnpike: Officials
A fatal crash closed Interstate 76/ PA Turnpike for over five hours on Saturday, Sept. 14 officials confirmed to Daily Voice the following Monday. The deadly three-vehicle crash happened at mile marker 268.4 in Penn Township, Lancaster County around 11:30 a.m., officials detailed. A detour began being used on I-76 West at Exit 286 - Reading starting at 12:35 p.m. and ending just before 5:45 p.m., according to officials. Pennsylvania State Police are still investigating this fatal crash. Check back here for updates.

Second Tractor-Trailer Crash On PA Turnpike Interchange To Rt 283: PennDOT
Yet another tractor-trailer rolled over on the interchange of Route 283 with the PA Turnpike on Thursday, Aug. 22, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. The second tractor-trailer overturned on the ramp from Rt 283 West to the PA Turnpike/Interstate 76 South near the exit to the Harrisburg International Airport in Lower Swatara Township. Condolences are flooding in following the death of a 38-year-old woman on the PA Turnpike. Kelly M. Little, 38, was stopped in the right westbound lane in Clay Township around 2 a.m. on Thursday, April 11, when she was struck by a tractor trailer, police said in a news release. The tractor-trailer was going 65 mph when it struck Little's Mercedes-Benz and flipped the car on its passenger side, troopers said. Little, of Harrisburg, was pronounced dead at the scene. A 26-year-old western Pennsylvania woman has been identified 35 years after she died at the scene of a tractor-trailer collision on the state turnpike, authorities say. Linda Jean McClure, of Indiana, PA was a passenger in a tractor-trailer truck that slammed into the fuel tank of another tractor-trailer at mile marker 119.4 in the eastbound lanes of the PA Turnpike in Somerset County on Oct. 22, 1987, the state police announced on Jan. 24, 2023.
