A woman being held in the York County Prison on prostitution charges among other offenses, has been caught with drugs, police announced on Thursday, Feb. 22. Yinmei Zeng, 37 of Ohio, has been held for drug offenses, prostitution, and fleeing from the police since Dec. 2023, court records show. A Parkesburg man is charged with felony "swatting" in Ohio, according to borough police. Michael Eugene Carpenter was arrested on an Ohio warrant on Tuesday, Jan. 9, authorities said in a release. "Swatting" involves reporting a false crime to authorities — often a bomb threat or hostage situation — to provoke a police response, officials said.
