Pedestrian Struck In Hit-Run, Lower Paxton Police Say A pedestrian strike by a hit-and-run driver is under investigation in Lower Paxton, police announced on Tuesday, Jan. 9.  The prdestrian was hit by an SUV — possibly a Ford Explorer — in the first block of Franklin Street at the intersection with Lexington Street, just south of Jonestown Road, the police explained.  The incident happened at about 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, as detailed in the release.  The driver headed west on Lexington Street after striking the person when the turned from Franklin Street. Python Found At Central PA School: Police A python was found at a Central Pennsylvania school on Tuesday. The ball python was found during student pick-up just before 4 p.m. on Oct. 3rd.  The Lower Paxton Township Police think the snake may have slithered out of a family's car at Dauphin County Technical School.  Anyone with information about the snake and who it may belong to is asked to call the Lower Paxton Township Police Department at 717-558-6900.

Wanted Woman Robs Boscov's At Colonial Park Mall In Lower Paxton Township, Police Say A robbery led to an arrest of a wanted woman at Colonial Park mall on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, police say. Trinity R.
