Joseph Wamah, one of the five declared dead following a mass shooting in southwest Philadelphia during Independence Day celebrations, was a "consistently positive, charismatic, selfless person," those close to him say. A gunman in a bulletproof vest opened fire in Philadelphia's Kingsessing section Monday night, July 3, killing five people and wounding two children, NBC10 reports citing Philadelphia police. Police responding to reports of shots fired found multiple victims at 56th Street and Chester Avenue around 8:30 p.m., the outlet said.
