Convict Sexually Assaults 2 Woman In Elizabethtown Parking Lot, Police Say
A convict was found with blood coming from his face in an Elizabethtown parking lot following two sexual assaults, borough police announced on Tuesday, Sept. 10.
Richard J. Copenhaver III, 29, of Mountville, was found in the 200 block of South Market Street in Elizabethtown Borough by Corporal Goshen and Officer John Stewart at 9:10 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 9, as detailed in a release.
Copenhaver had a "laceration to her nose and was covered in blood," as stated in the release, where police also noted he was "under the influence."

Paul Wasser was found guilty on Monday, Aug. 26 of Rape of an Unconscious Person, Involuntary Deviate Sexual Intercourse, Sexual Assault, Conspiracy to Sexual Assault, Indecent Assault, and Conspiracy to Indecent Assault.
His co-defendant, Kelly Prosser, was convicted of Involuntary Deviate Sexual Intercourse, Rape of an Unconscious Person, Conspiracy to Sexual Assault, and Indecent Assault.

Two Cumberland County men were convicted of sexually assaulting a woman after a night of drinking, authorities said.
Chase Toombs and Taj Tucker blamed their behavior on Hennessy beer, according to the Cumberland County District Attorney's Office.
The victim complained of bleeding from the mouth and vagina after an attack by the two men, the DA said.

'Help:' Text Message Sent By Bleeding Victim Brings Police To Harrowing Scene In PA, Cops Say
"Please help" was the message that police got from a victim in Cumberland County last week, they said.

New Cumberland police officers worked swiftly to track down the source of the message on May 15, before walking in on Braden King, 60, trying to pull the woman's clothes off without her consent, they said.
