Ridge Rhodes, 29 Of Lewistown, Shot Dead By Police A convicted felon has died following an officer-involved shooting in Lewistown, Pennsylvania State Police announced on Tuesday, June 11, 2024.  Ridge Ryen Rhodes, 29 of Lewistown, is accused of firing "several shots" when local police responded to the area of the 100 block of West Fourth Street and fired back around 8:30 p.m. on Monday, according to the PSP Troop G release.  Rhodes "succumbed to injuries" after being shot by police. HS Junior Killed, Dad Of 4 Hospitalized In Head-On Crash: PA State Police Multiple families have been affected by a deadly head-on crash at the Dauphin and Schuylkill counties lines. Ronald "RJ" Maichle, 17 of Gratz, was driving a 2005 Chevrolet Malibu east on Berry Road/PA Route 209 in Williams Township when he crossed over the center line and slammed into a 2021 Ford Escape, Pennsylvania State Police detailed in a release.
