Christopher Van Johnson Gets 7 Life Sentence For 3 Murders More than eight years after a triple homicide in Pennsylvania, a Maryland man has been brought to justice, according to ta release by the US Department of Justice on Fiday, July 19, 2024.  Christopher Van Johnson, 36 of Baltimore, MD was sentenced to seven consecutive life in prison sentences by United States District Court Judge Christopher C. Conner, "who also sentenced to concurrent 10, 20, and 30-year terms of imprisonment on companion robbery, firearms, and conspiracy charges" on July 17, 2024, as stated in the release. Delaware Man Admits Peddling Heroin In NJ: Feds A Delaware man admitted in federal court that he sold heroin in New Jersey, authorities said. Carl L. Jones, 49, of Newport, did business with "a confidential source who was working with law enforcement" in a commercial parking lot in Mount Laurel on March 29, 2019, U.S. Attorney for New Jersey Philip R. Sellinger said. According to Sellinger, Jones sold the informant a pound and a half of a a "mixture and substance containing a detectable amount of heroin." Mom Gives Girls 'Marijuana Edibles' Pennsylvania State Police Say Three 15-year-olds were given "marijuana edibles" by a mom in Western Pennsylvania, according to a release by Pennsylvania state police.  The unnamed 42-year-old Blairsville mom gave the drugs to her daughter and two friends from Latrobe, PSP explains in a release on Feb. 27, 2023. The incident allegedly happened at a home on Tryon Drive in Derry Township on Feb. 4 around 6 p.m., according to the release. The case is under investigation by state police. No charges have been filed at the time of publishing.
