Delbert Zimmerman, 19, Of Shippensburg, Dies In Crash
A 19-year-old man died at the scene of a motorcycle crash on Sunday, Aug. 11, Pennsylvania State Police Chambersburg announced the following morning. Delbert Zimmerman, of Shippensburg, was driving a 2013 Kawasaki Ninja on Rice Road when he struck a utility pole at a high rate of speed at 9:08 p.m., PSP Trooper Spenser Myers detailed in the release. The deadly crash happened in the 7100 block of Rice Road in Southampton Township. No other vehicles were involved in the collision.
