Curfew For All Under 18 Years Old To Be 'Reinforced' In Harrisburg: Officials
Children cannot be in a public place between the hours of 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. from Sunday through Thursday nights, and 12 a.m. midnight, and 6 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays– according to an ordinance police in Harrisburg will soon be enforcing. The so-called 'after-hours' curfew was first put in place in 2007, but on Monday, Sept. 11, 2023 city officials said they would be "reinforcing" it. A 19-year-old college baseball player has died after an illegally built dugout seriously injured him, authorities told Daily Voice. Angel Mecardo-Ocasio of Harrisburg was hurt when the dugout collapsed on him at 7th and Radnor Sports Park in Harrisburg around 3 p.m. on Monday, May 22, 2023, according to City of Harrisburg Communications Director Matt Maisel. Bomb Said To Explode In Two Hours Leads Police To Evacuate Harrisburg School: Authorities
Students and staff were rushed to another nearby school after a bomb threat was called into Capital Academy on Tuesday, February 14, 2023, around 7 a.m., authorities say.
