Deadly Feud: Business Dispute Sparks Fatal Ambush In Maryland, Sheriff Says A Pennsylvania man facing possible litigation ambushed two people in a rare deadly shooting in Carroll County earlier in this month in a well-planned assault, authorities announced on Christmas Eve. Austin Paul Potocki, 30, of Hanover, was arrested Monday, Dec. 23, in connection with the Dec. 13 shooting that killed Benjamin Billings, 42, and injured David Anderson, 39 in Finksburg.  According to the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office, Potocki fired multiple rounds into a pickup truck at the intersection of Wesley and Patapsco roads before fleeing the scene. Woman Wanted For Stealing $7.7K Out Of MD Captured In PA, Police Say A 55-year-old woman wanted out of Maryland for felony theft and malicious property destruction was has been arrested in Pennsylvania. Quarryville, PA police got a tip on June 6 that Lisa Marie Phillips was on the 100 block of Groffdale Drive in Oak Bottom Village, the office said. Cocaine, Loaded Gun Seized From Suspended PA Driver, Passenger In Westminster Stop: Sheriff A loaded gun, cocaine, cash and drug paraphernalia were seized from a Pennsylvania man and his passenger in a Carroll County stop over the weekend, police said. A Carroll County sheriff's deputy was patrolling along Baltimore Boulevard in Westminster, when he spotted a blue Ford Mustang speeding past vehicles in the right turn lane around 3:50 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 27, the county sheriff's office said.
