Shooter, Victim Charged After Shooting Central PA McDonald's: Police
A 19-year-old has been arrested and both he and the man he shot have been charged, Lancaster Bureau of Police said.
The accused shooter, Lorenzo O'branty of Lancaster, has been charged the following crimes, the police announced on Friday, July 21, 2023:
Felony aggravated assault.
Felony discharge of a firearm into an occupied structure.
Misdemeanor recklessly endangering another person.
Felony firearms not to be carried without a license.
A 20-year-old man recovering from a gunshot wound has also been charged, police announced on Thursday, July 20, 2023.

Woman Stabs BF With Butcher Knife At PA Hotel, Police Say
A woman who didn't want to leave the hotel room got "upset" and stabbed her boyfriend, Middlesex Township Police announced on Monday, May 15, 2023.
Amanda Lynn Gutierrez was taken into custody without incident after her boyfriend called the police and informed them she stabbed him at the Rodeway Inn located at 1239 Harrisburg Pike, Carlisle on Saturday, May 13, 2023, as detailed in the release.

UPDATE: An ex-con who kidnapped and raped his ex-girlfriend in Pennsylvania, then torched a used car dealership in Paterson and rammed a stolen SUV into police cars at both ends of the George Washington Bridge was sentenced to 43 years in federal prison.
Luis Figueroa, 42, first took a plea deal from the government that called for him to serve 26 years in a federal penitentiary.

'Male Exotic Dancer' Arrested For Homicide Attempt In Harrisburg: Authorities
Someone was sitting in their car when a self-described "male exotic dancer" opened fire at them on Saturday, March 4, 2023, around 9 p.m., authorities say.
David Anthony Chase, 35, of Harrisburg was arrested in connection with the shooting in the 200 block of Verbeke Street, Harrisburg on Thursday, March 9, City Police say.
The driver was the only person in the car when it was shot multiple times, according to the police release. During the investigation, multiple spent shell casings were recovered in the area of Verbeke and Susquehanna streets.

Baby Clinging To Life After Lower Paxton Drowning Dies, Dad Charged With Murder, Police Say
On August 18, 2022, a Lower Paxton Township dad was spotted screaming his "infant had drowned"— now the baby has died, authorities announced on March 8, 2023.
Devine Davis, 29, was arrested on assault charges for the drowning in the 4900 block of Wynnewood Road after an investigation, according to the Lower Paxton Township Bureau of Police.
The infant had suffered life-threatening injuries but clung on until Feb. 22, 2023, the police say.
Davis was charged with murder on March 7, 2023.
He has been denied bail and remains in prison.
