A Pennsylvania State Police Corporal and a trooper caused a crash during a pursuit on Tuesday, according to a state police release on Friday, Oct. 6. The crash happened near the intersection of South Main Street and Mercer Avenue in Mercersburg Borough at 2:21 p.m. on Oct. 3, as detailed in the police release. Amish 4-Year-Old Boy Dies After Farming Accident In Central PA
An Amish 4-year-old boy is dead following a farming accident, according to his obituary. Levi L. Stoltzfus, was the son of Samuel and Mary Stoltzfus of the 700 block of Kames Hill Road in Columbia, as detailed in his obituary. He "was injured when a farm helper using a piece of unspecified equipment ran into him while moving hay bales on a property," as stated in a report by Lancaster Online. UPDATE: The police incident ended around 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 18, 2023, according to an updated release by the East Pennsboro Township Police Department. "This incident is now cleared. An 18-year-old has been identified as the driver of a Mustang that crash on Interstate 81, in Hampden Township on Thursday, Feb. 9, authorities say. Jeffrey L. Suter, of Enola, was driving the 2008 Ford Mustang northbound on Interstate 81 when he "made an unsafe lane change" making him lose control and exit the roadway just before the actual of Exit 61: Wertzville Road.
