FDA Warns Against Microdosed' Chocolate After PA Resident Sickened
Consumers should avoid Diamond Shruumz branded chocolate, cones, and gummies, federal regulators say.
Twelve people, including one Pennsylvania resident, became sick after eating Diamond Shruumz products, which according to the company's website contain a "proprietary blend of nootropic and functional mushrooms."
The Food and Drug Administration said consumers reported a variety of symptoms including seizures, central nervous system depression (loss of consciousness, confusion, sleepiness), agitation, abnormal heart rates, hyper/hypotension, nausea, and vomiting.

Meet Pennsylvania College Football Player Vying For Love On New Season Of 'The Bachelorette'
Jenn Tran is officially the next "Bachelorette," and the names of the men vying for her heart have already surfaced.
Tran, 26, made her Bachelor Nation debut on Joey Grazidei's season, and will be the first Asian-American Bachelorette in season history.
Tran is a physician assistant based in Miami, and will soon be meeting the 28 men hoping for a shot at love.

Philly Area Players Win Over $1.2 Million Combined In Pennsylvania Lottery
A pair of Pennsylvania Lottery players in greater Philadelphia will take home more than $1.2 million combined, according to state gaming officials.
In Northeast Philadelphia, a lucky player matched all five balls pulled in the Saturday, April 13 drawing for the Cash 5 with Quick Cash game to win $956,334, lotto reps said.
The vendor, Krewstown Beer & Beverage at 8900 Krewstown Road, will receive a $5,000 bonus check for selling the winning slip.

$1 Million Winning Mega Millions Lottery Ticket Sold In Lebanon County
There's a newly minted millionaire after buying a lottery ticket in Pennsylvania.
The winning $1,000,000 lottery ticket for the Mega Millions drawing on Friday, April 12, 2024, sold in Central Pennsylvania lottery officials announced the following Monday.
The ticket matched five of the balls: 1-12-14-18-66, but not the yellow Mega Ball 16, to win $1 million, less applicable withholding.
It sold at BG’s Value Market, 19 Old Route 22, Jonestown, which will receive a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
