Winner! $1 Million Mega Millions Lottery Ticket Sold In Philadelphia

There are three new millionaires in the Philadelphia area with jackpot-winning tickets from three different lotteries sold in Northampton, Delaware, and Philadelphia counties.

Northampton

A jackpot-winning Pennsylvania Lottery Match 6 ticket worth $1.68 million from the Wednesday, Sept. 25 drawing was sold in Northampton County at West Easton Grocery & Smoke Shop, located at 708 A East Street in Easton, according to the Pennsylvania Lottery. The store will earn a $10,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

The ticket matched all six winning numbers of 3-23-25-26-41-42 to win the $1.68 million jackpot.

Delaware

In Delaware County, a winning Mega Millions ticket worth $1 million from the Tuesday, Sept. 24 drawing was sold at the Pantry 1 Food Mart, located at 609 Chester Pike, Crum Lynne. The store will receive a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

The ticket matched all five of the white balls that were drawn, 1-6-10-23-27, but not the yellow Mega Ball, 18. 

Philadelphia

Philadelphia saw a winning Cash 5 with Quick Cash ticket worth $1.5 million sold for the Tuesday, Sept. 24 drawing from Reen's Delicatessen, located at 12319 Academy Road. The store will earn a $10,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

The ticket matched all five balls drawn, 7-8-24-32-41, to win the $1.5 million.

Prize winners aren't known until the prizes are claimed and the tickets are validated, according to the Pennsylvania Lottery. Winners have one year from the drawing date to claim their prizes. Winning tickets should immediately be signed on the back and call the Lottery at 1-800-692-7481.
