West York Borough Police Officer Andrew Duarte will be laid to rest this week after he was killed in the line of duty during a mass shooting at UPMC Memorial Hospital in York County on Saturday, Feb, 22. Attempted Murder: Stabbing To Face, Neck, PA State Police Say
A man has been charged with attempted murder after police found a man stabbed in the neck and face in Red Lion, Pennsylvania State Police announced on Tuesday, Aug. 27.
Joel McWilliams, 36, of Red Lion, has been charged with Attempted Murder, Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Possession of an Offensive Weapon, Recklessly Endangering Another Person, Simple Assault, and Harassment, PSP York announced.
The charges come on the heels of a stabbing in the 300 block of 1st Avenue in Red Lion Borough at 10:22 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 23.
