Levittown Man Arrested For Wild Car Meetups In Philly: Police
Two more arrests have been made relating to illegal car meetups in Philadelphia, according to police. Joseph Cavanaugh, 21, of Levittown, and James Hare, 20, of Philadelphia, were arrested on Friday, Oct. 25, the Philadelphia Police Department said. Both men were charged for their actions at a series of illegal car meetups that took place in various parts of the city beginning at 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 21 and ending at 4:33 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 22, according to police. The suspect wanted for a triple shooting on a SEPTA bus earlier this month has been arrested by US Marshals on Wednesday, Oct. 23. Raphael Ezeamaka, 18, of Darby, was wanted for a triple shooting that happened on a SEPTA Route G bus at 700 South 57th Street on Tuesday, Oct. 8, according to the Philadelphia Police Department. A 75-year-old woman is in critical condition after being struck by a school bus on a Philadelphia street, police announced on Tuesday, Oct. 22. The woman was walking west on Chelten Avenue in the crosswalk at Chew Avenue at 3:01 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 21, according to the Philadelphia Police Department. A 65-year-old woman was killed after an out-of-control vehicle hit her, Philadelphia police said.
