Road Closure Alert: Almshouse Road Shut Down Due To Fallen Tree On Power Lines

Almshouse Road is closed between Birdie Lane and Valley Road after a large tree was found leaning on power wires, officials announced early Friday, Nov. 22, 2024.

The Doylestown Township Police Department issued the closure notice at 5:54 a.m., stating that crews were en route to handle the situation.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area and seek alternate routes until the road is reopened.

Crews are working to resolve the issue.
