PennDOT Work To Begin In Plumstead, Police Say Crews will begin work on Old East Road in Plumstead beginning Tuesday, July 23, township police announced.  The street will be shut down from Curly Hill Road to Route 611 all day for drainage pipe replacement, authorities wrote in a release. Only emergency traffic will be allowed, police said.  Drivers are asked to plan alternate routes, including Curly Hill Road between Easton Road and Old Easton Road or Point Pleasant Pike.

Sinkhole Closes Route 32 In Bucks County PennDOT crews are repairing a sinkhole on River Road/Route 32, officials say.  According to Tinicum police, River Road is closed from Route 611 (Easton Road) to Bridgeton Hill Road in Nockamixon and Bridgeton townships.  Drivers should use Bridgeton Hill Road/Marienstein Road and Route 611 (Easton Road) instead of Route 32.  Expect traffic slowdowns in the area, officials said.
