Drunk Man Threatens Guards, Storms Women's Restroom At Mechanicsburg Meps: Police An intoxicated man caused chaos at the U.S. Military Entrance Processing Command Center (MEPS) in Mechanicsburg, resulting in his arrest, police announced Friday, Nov. 22. Alexander Christian Murray, 27, of Carlisle, showed up for initial intake testing at the MEPS on Wednesday, Nov. 13, but employees quickly suspected he was under the influence of alcohol, according to Lower Allen Township police. Staff reportedly confronted Murray about his condition, and he became increasingly uncooperative. The 6’5” man reportedly walked into the women’s restroom before security guards escorted him out.…

The East Pennsboro Township Police announced they are 14-year-old looking for Alani Pierce, in a release at 2:10 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 12.  Pierce is 5'0" tall and weighs approximately 95 lbs., with brown hair and brown eyes, according to the police.  She was last known to be wearing Mickey Mouse pajama pants, the police noted.. Crash Causes Major Delays On I-81 In Mechanicsburg: PennDOT (Developing) There's lane restriction on Interstate 81 following a multiple vehicle crash on Friday evening, Sept. 27, Pennsylvania Department of Transportation spokesperson Fritzi Schreffler told Daily Voice.  Emergency crews were called to the scene of the crash on  on I-81 southbound 1.1 miles north of Exit 57: PA 114 - Mechanicsburg at 6:08 p.m., according to PennDOT's 511PA. No injuries have been reported, according to emergency dispatchers.  A tow was at the scene at 7 p.m., Schreffler said.  Check back here for updates.

Crews used a nearby hydrant to knock down the fire and clear the scene in under 45 minutes.  The fire did not spread to the building.
