Tow Truck Driver Injured In I-81 Crash While Assisting Stranded Vehicle: PSP A tow truck operator was hospitalized after being hit by a passenger vehicle on Interstate 81 in Franklin County, Pennsylvania State Police announced on Thursday, Feb. 6. The crash happened around 6:25 a.m. at mile marker 23.0 northbound when a passenger vehicle struck the tow truck as the operator was preparing to tow another vehicle, troopers said. The tow truck driver was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Details about the other driver were not immediately available.
