Two men stole approximately $2 million from banks by impersonating employees and customers – something one of them had experience doing before, authorities say. According to the Office of the Attorney General, investigators found that the young men allegedly targeted financial institutions and consumers in Cumberland, Dauphin, Lancaster, and York Counties. A 25-year-old dad has pleaded guilty to killing his infant son, authorities say. Daryl Carletto Brown underwent a mental evaluation in connection with the Oct. 14, 2020 death of his 2-month-old son, but ultimately on Aug. 21 a negotiated plea deal was approved, according to the court documents. Three tornadoes have been confirmed to have touched down in Central Pennsylvania on Monday, Aug. 7, the National Weather Service confirmed on Friday, Aug. 18, 2023. A 71-year-old man who was found unresponsive in his Central Pennsylvania pool over the weekend has been identified, authorities said. Richard B.
