Pedestrian, 63, Critical After Being Struck By Vehicle In Mercer County Crosswalk
A 63-year-old pedestrian was rushed to a nearby hospital after being struck by a vehicle in a Mercer County crosswalk Tuesday evening, authorities said. The pedestrian was heading east to west in the southern crosswalk of the intersection of Penn-Lyle Road at Canoe Brook Drive in West Windsor, local police said in a press release. Aisha Kearney, 40, was operating a mini motor bike in the center lane of Route 1 South near Buffalo Wild Wings in West Windsor when she was hit by a North Brunswick man driving a Ford around 10:40 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 15, authorities said. A man was taken to the hospital after being struck by a shuttle train in Mercer County Tuesday night, authorities said. The man was struck by the Princeton Dinky shuttle train No. 4177 near the Princeton Station in West Windsor shortly before 10 p.m., NJ Transit spokesperson Jim Smith told DailyVoice.com. A 64-year-old Mercer County man was killed after being struck by a car before dawn Sunday, authorities said. Officers responding to the pedestrian crash on Route 1 North at the Square of West Windsor found the man, of Princeton, unresponsive just after 6:20 a.m., West Windsor Police said. Motorist Trapped, Airlifted After Route 1 Collision In Mercer County
EMS crews were called to a serious crash in Mercer County, authorities said. The crash occurred about 9:30 a.m. Saturday on Route 1 at Carnegie Center Boulevard in West Windsor, initial reports said. The motorist reportedly was trapped and had to be airlifted by medical helicopter to an area hospital, reports said. About 1:30 p.m., there was a separate crash reported in Trenton at North Hermitage Avenue and West State Street. Two crash victims were taken to a regional hospital, according to initial reports. Authorities: Car Burglar Admits Breaking Into 2,000 Vehicles In New Jersey, Pennsylvania
Authorities have arrested a suspect who admits breaking into about 2,000 vehicles in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Keith A. Johnson, 33, of Yardley, in Bucks County, PA, is charged with numerous counts of theft and burglary, as well as 76 counts of loitering/prowling at night, according to the Bucks County District Attorney's office. Authorities have identified a 60-year-old Trenton man who died of a fatal headshot wound earlier Thursday.
