'Partially Dressed' Burglar Raided Bucks Tailor Shop, Cops Say
An accused burglar was caught with his pants down at a Bucks County tailor shop early on Sunday, Jan. 15, authorities say. Central Bucks police were called Ventresca's Tailoring at 145 West State Street in Doylestown when a security alarm was tripped at about 1:30 a.m., the department said in a statement. On arrival, officers said they found 23-year-old Jean Carlos Ortega-Garrido "partially undressed" with merchandise strewn across the store. Police: Burglar Leads Officers On Foot Pursuit After Witness Spots Her Entering Doylestown Home
A burglar led officers on a foot pursuit after a witness spotted her entering a Doylestown home Monday, authorities said. A witness told officers she saw a woman -- later identified as Katherine Aseltine -- climbing an outside staircase and entering a West Oakland Avenue home, Central Bucks Regional police said. Aseltine then led officers on a foot pursuit throughout the neighborhood, which ended when she was spotted in a West State Street parking lot, police said. Aseltine was arraigned by Judge Snow, remanded to Bucks County Prison after failing to post 10% of $25,000 bail.

Discrimination? Doylestown Biz Gives Discount For Customers With Vaccination Card
A Doylestown business owner is receiving national backlash for offering a discount to customers who show their COVID-19 vaccination card. Donna Gouldey, the owner of Allora Gifts & Home Decor on West State Street, made a Facebook post offering a 10 percent discount to anyone who shows a COVID-19 vaccination card at her store on Saturdays.
