Serious 2-Car Crash On Route 22 Traps Driver (Photos) Crews were quick to rescue a trapped driver Sunday afternoon following a two-car crash on Route 22. The Hanover Township Volunteer Fire Company responded to the reported crash with injuries in the eastbound lanes near milepost 327.4 in Hanover Township and found the trapped driver around 1 p.m., the squad said. Emergency crews removed the roof of the vehicle — which appears to be a Mustang — with help from the Catasauqua Fire Department and extricated the victim within about 15 minutes upon arrival. Bucks Driver Crashes Into Upper Southampton Shoe Store Officials are investigating after a Bucks County driver crashed into a shoe store in Upper Southampton Friday, authorities said. The driver crashed into the Faherty Shoe Repair store on Second Street Pike around 11:15 a.m., according to a Facebook post by Emergency Alerts of Bucks, Montgomery, and Delaware Counties. Two people were reportedly pinned under the car, and fire crews used airbags to rescue them, authorities said.
