A Lehigh County woman was found dead in a wooded area of Lehigh County, the coroner announced on Friday, Nov. 8. Lynn Parsons, 65, of Upper Macungie Township, was found in a wooded area of the township in the 1700 block of Mulberry Road, at 4:20 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 6, according to the coroner's office. A 30-year-old motorcyclist was injured in a crash with a deer in Upper Macungie Township on Wednesday, Oct. 23, according to police. The motorcyclist, who is from Blandon, Berks County, struck a deer while driving on Route 222 North near its intersection with Grim Road at 6:38 a.m., the Upper Macungie Township Police Department said. Coroner IDs Driver Killed When Car Overturns In Embankment In Lehigh County
A 66-year-old motorist was killed when their vehicle slid off the roadway and went down an embankment Saturday night, Oct. 5, officials said. Stephen La Pierre, of Upper Macungie Township, was operating the vehicle that went off the roadway on Tilghman Street and into an embankment, overturning and ejecting him around 10 p.m., Lehigh County Coroner Daniel Buglio said. The cause of death is Multiple Blunt Force Injuries. The manner of death is Accident.

A multi-vehicle crash shuttered 27 miles of Interstate 78 for nearly eight hours on Wednesday, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. Deadly Tractor-Trailer Crash Shuts Part Of I-78
A deadly crash involving a tractor-trailer closed parts of I-78 Sunday, July 23 in Lehigh County. The crash occurred on the westbound side near mile maker 47.6 in Upper Macungie Township around 1:30 p.m., according to the PennDOT website.
