A 62-year-old man from Philadelphia and a 53-year-old woman from Deptford were killed in a head-on crash in Gloucester County, authorities said. Yet another tractor-trailer rolled over on the interchange of Route 283 with the PA Turnpike on Thursday, Aug. 22, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. The second tractor-trailer overturned on the ramp from Rt 283 West to the PA Turnpike/Interstate 76 South near the exit to the Harrisburg International Airport in Lower Swatara Township. Sinkhole Closes Route 32 In Bucks County
PennDOT crews are repairing a sinkhole on River Road/Route 32, officials say. According to Tinicum police, River Road is closed from Route 611 (Easton Road) to Bridgeton Hill Road in Nockamixon and Bridgeton townships. Drivers should use Bridgeton Hill Road/Marienstein Road and Route 611 (Easton Road) instead of Route 32. Expect traffic slowdowns in the area, officials said.

Two children were flown to a nearby hospital following a two-vehicle crash in Bucks County, authorities said. The crash involving a trash truck and SUV happened at the intersection of Route 113 and Minsi Trail in Hilltown Township around 3:10 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 14, local police said. The kids, who were riding in the SUV, were airlifted to Lehigh Valley Hospital with serious injuries, Hilltown police said.
