Appaloosa Horse Hit By Stray Bullet, PA State Police Say
A house and a beloved horse were hit by a stray bullet hit a horse on Sunday, the Pennsylvania State Police announced on Tuesday, Aug. 29. Troopers were initially called to investigation damage from "an errant bullet" to a home on Shrivers Corner Road in Butler Township, Gettysburg around 2:30 p.m. on Sunday. When the troopers arrived and began to investigate they discovered an Appaloosa horse named Which Way Willie had also been shot. Elderly Woman Injured By Stray Bullet On New Years Day: Philadelphia Police
Just minutes after 2023 began, an 87-year-old Philadelphia woman was struck by a stray bullet probably fired in celebration, authorities say. The victim was standing on the 3400 block of Salmon Street in Port Richmond at about 12:15 a.m., Philly police told Daily Voice. She was rushed to Jefferson Frankford Hospital, where she was treated for a gunshot wound to the left shoulder and placed in stable condition, the department said. Stray Bullet Injures 11-Year-Old Girl In Berks County Clubhouse: Police
An 11-year-old Berks County girl was hospitalized with a gunshot wound to the chest after authorities say she was struck by a stray bullet. Police in Exeter Township were called to the clubhouse at Laurel Springs housing development on East Neversink Road just before 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 26, the department said.
