Philly Trucker Charged With Homicide For Triple-Fatal Monroe County Crash: Court Docs A truck driver involved in a triple fatal crash that happened on Route 33 near the Northampton-Monroe County line was charged with vehicular homicide, court documents state. Overturned Truck Shuts Down Highway Ramp In Northampton County: PSP (Updated) Update: The ramp has since reopened, troopers said.  Crews are at the scene of an accident involving an overturned tractor-trailer on Wednesday, April 3, according to troopers.  Troop M's Nathan Branosky said the truck flipped on the ramp from Route 33 southbound to Interstate 78 eastbound in Lower Saucon. Drivers on Route 33 south are being detoured onto I-78's westbound lanes, state police said.  The ramp was still closed while first responders worked the scene around noon, Branosky said.

Samantha Crich and her daughter, Elizabeth, were coming home from a doctor's visit when they were struck by an out-of-control tractor trailer around 11 a.m., according to a GoFundMe campaign and Pennsylvania State Police. Crews responding to a previous crash on Route 33 were called to the report of a UPS box truck into a Northampton County home on Dec. 18, the Nancy Run Fire Company said. RE1413, E1712, and Chief 17 arrived at the scene and worked to support the damaged areas of the home’s garage until a contractor arrived to stabilize the structure, the department said. 1 Hospitalized After I-78 Crash In Northampton County: Report One person was injured in a crash on a busy highway in Northampton County early Monday, WFMZ reports.  The car was travelling westbound on I-78 near the Route 33 exit in Williams Township around 3:30 a.m. when it struck a median, the outlet says citing police.
