One Killed, Another Injured In Wrong-Way Route 1 Crash One driver was killed and another was hurt following a Tuesday, July 19 wrong-way crash on the Route 1 bypass in East Nottingham Township, authorities confirmed. A 33-year-old Pennsylvania driver was traveling in the northbound lanes between SR472 and SR272 when a 25-year-old wrong-way driver from Maryland struck her vehicle head-on around 5:40 a.m., Pennsylvania State Police said. Philadelphia Man, 56, Killed As SUV Collides With Truck Carrying 42,000 Lbs. Of Sugar: Report A 56-year-old man from Philadelphia was killed after crashing head-on into a tractor-trailer carrying 42,000 pounds of sugar in South Jersey, NJ Advance Media reported.  Hien Dinh Nguyen was driving an SUV east on High Hill Road in Logan Township at about 6 a.m. Tuesday, July 12 when he veered into the oncoming lane, the outlet said, quoting Logan Township Police. Victim Airlifted Following Serious Motorcycle Crash In Hunterdon County One person was flown to a nearby hospital Wednesday evening after a serious crash involving a car and motorcycle in Hunterdon County, authorities said. The crash occurred near Pittstown Road and Baker Road in Franklin Township shortly before 5:30 p.m., according to the Quakertown Fire Company. Emergency crews responded within five minutes and found a trauma patient requiring transportation, the department said. Wrong-Way Bicyclist Killed By Car In South Jersey A 57-year-old bicyclist died after being struck by a car Friday night in South Jersey, authorities said. The cyclist was struck by a 39-year-old driver heading east on Nottingham Way near Klockner Road in Hamilton (Mercer County) just before 8 p.m., local police said. The bicyclist who was riding against traffic on the same side of the road, police said.  No charges were filed and the man's identity was being withheld pending notification. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
