Young Child's 'Severely Decomposed' Body Found In Duffel Bag In Philadelphia: Police
Police are investigating after a young child was found dead in a duffel bag in Philadelphia on Monday morning, March 18. The child was found on the 600 block of N. 38th Street in the Mantua section of West Philly, according to the department. Police said it was discovered by someone doing work behind a property on the block. The child has not yet been identified and their gender is unknown, police said. Woman Sitting In Parked Car Struck By Gunfire In Reading, Detectives Say
One woman was hospitalized after she was shot while sitting in a parked car on Thursday night, March 7, Reading police said in a release. It happened on the 400 block of Lehigh Street around 9:20 p.m., according to investigators. The victim, 25, was struck multiple times in the leg and taken to Reading Hospital with non-life-threatening wounds, said police. The suspects are described as two men, possibly Hispanic wearing dark clothing, said detectives. An investigation is underway and anyone with information is asked to call 610-655-6116.

Police Investigating North Philly Woman's Death
Authorities are investigating after a 46-year-old woman died in a North Philadelphia apartment on Tuesday afternoon, March 5. It happened on the 700 block of West Annsbury Street near Hunting Park, city police said. The victim's boyfriend found her unresponsive on the floor in a second-story bedroom around 2:10 p.m., according to officials. She was pronounced dead a half hour later, police said. Her name was not reported by police and authorities said her cause of death is still under review.

Woman 'Seriously Injured' By Gunfire In Bethlehem, Police Say
Police are investigating after a woman was shot in Bethlehem on Wednesday afternoon, Feb. 28, authorities said in a release. Authorities received multiple calls about gunfire on the 400 block of Cherokee Street around 3:15 p.m., the department said. A police investigation is underway after two people were found dead in a car on a North Philadelphia street on Tuesday, Feb. 13. It happened just before 4 p.m. on the 3600 block of N. 17th Street in Tioga-Nicetown, city police told Daily Voice. A woman in Bucks County jumped into the Delaware River on Monday evening, Jan. 15 after police approached her about a domestic dispute, authorities announced. Victim 'Uncooperative' After Easton Shooting, Police Say
Police say the victim in a Monday night Easton shooting is not cooperating with investigators. The 30-year-old man was shot multiple times on the 200 block of Northampton Street around 9:30 p.m. on Dec. 11, the department said in a release. He was taken to an area hospital with "what are believed to be survivable injuries," police wrote. Two nearby businesses and a car were also damaged by gunfire, they added. Delco Police Officers Involved In Fiery Crash During Traffic Stop On I-95
Police officers in Delaware County, PA were involved in a fiery crash during a traffic stop early Saturday, Nov. 11, on I-95, police said. The Chester officers were on the scene of a traffic stop on the southbound side of I-95 near Kerlin Street, when a passing vehicle struck the back of the police vehicles, causing some of the vehicles to erupt in flames around 3 a.m., police said.
