A 7-year-old girl died in a fall from a neighbor's pickup truck in Montgomery County this week, authorities announced. The girl had been playing outside when a man in their Plymouth Township neighborhood gave them a ride in the back of his Isuzu Elf pickup truck on Tuesday night, Aug. 22, Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin R. A 38-year-old Pennsylvania man has been charged with raping a young girl for six years, authorities said. The charges against Daniel Barnett, of Plymouth Township, were brought forward after the now 29-year-old victim told police she was raped by him more than 100 times beginning when she was 5 years old, Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin R. A barricaded subject situation brought a SWAT response to a home in Plymouth Meeting Wednesday morning. The suspect was being uncooperative with police, who arrived to the a home on Johnson Road and Germantown Pike to serve a search warrant, CBS reports. A Montgomery County contractor is facing multiple charges after he was paid to complete home improvement work and never showed, authorities said. David Gofus, 32, provided two estimates under the business name of Doc Gofus Renovations in August 2019, then never showed up to complete the work, Plymouth Township police said.
