Storm Update: Water Rescues As Flooding, Downed Trees, Wires Close Roads In Eastern PA Downed trees and power lines had closed roads after the storm in Eastern Pennsylvania on Wednesday, Aug. 7, authorities said. The remnants of now Tropical Storm Debby will move north along the eastern U.S. through Saturday, according to the National Weather Service. Bucks County first responders reportedly made nine water rescues overnight after up to 5 inches of rain fell. Armed Intruder Stands Over Sleeping East Lansdowne Resident Before Fleeing: Police An armed intruder was arrested after breaking into a home, and standing over a resident as she slept in her bed, authorities in Delaware County said. Quinn Sivels, 41, of Philadelphia, was later identified as the suspect who broke into the Pembroke Avenue home in East Lansdowne armed with a gun around 2:30 a.m. on  Friday, June 3, local police said. The pair fought over the gun, and the man eventually fled her home on foot, East Lansdowne police said. A few minutes later, officers captured the suspect near the home, they said.
