Teenager Killed In Northeast Philadelphia Shooting: City Police A 16-year-old died after gunfire erupted on a residential block in Oxford Circle on Tuesday evening, July 23, according to Philadelphia police.  The shooting happened on the 1200 block of Van Kirk Street just after 4 p.m., authorities said in a release. The victim was struck four times in his torso and taken to Jefferson Frankford Hospital where he died within the hour, officials wrote.  No arrest was made and no weapon was recovered as of 5 p.m., PPD added.

Sawee Kofa Shot And Killed In Northeast Philadelphia: PPD Authorities have identified the 27-year-old man shot and killed in Northeast Philadelphia's Oxford Circle on Sunday night, March 3.  Sawee Kofa, 27, of Lawndale section, was found with a gunshot wound to the chest around 11:30 p.m., city police told Daily Voice.  Investigators said he was shot on the 5800 block of Castor Avenue.  Kofa was pronounced dead at the scene, police wrote.
