AccuWeather has released a new weather map ahead of a winter storm approaching the Northeast. A popular hummus sold at Wegmans in eight states and the District of Columbia has been recalled by the company, the FDA announced on Feb. 3. A producer for Wegmans, Summer Fresh Salads Inc. of Woodbridge, Ontario, Canada has recalled Wegmans Harissa Hummus Topped With Harissa, according to the FDA. The recall was prompted due to undeclared sesame in the produce. A Pennsylvania mom who secretly moved to New Jersey and left her child behind has been arrested and has a whole new look, based on information shared with Daily Voice by the prison warden on Tuesday, Jan. 30. A father-son pair of cheesesteak shop owners were sentenced to prison last week for hiding $8 million in revenue from tax collectors, say federal prosecutors. Police investigators in Bensalem are asking for the public's help in tracking down a hit-and-run driver. A red Ford F350 extended cab pickup truck hit a pedestrian just before midnight on Friday, Jan. 12, sending him to the hospital with broken bones, authorities said. It happened near the corner of Street Road and Brookwood Drive, according to police.
