A third-alarm fire ravaged a Lehigh Valley apartment building that was under construction, authorities said. The fire broke out at a three-story building on the 3100 block of Charlotte Avenue in Palmer Township on Monday afternoon. Pair Rescued From Overturned Car, Hospitalized In Serious Lehigh Valley Crash
Two victims were rescued and taken to a local trauma center following a serious Lehigh Valley crash Monday night, authorities said. The multi-car crash was reported near 512 and Brodhead Road in Hanover Township around 5 p.m., according to the Hanover Township Volunteer Fire Company, which arrived about a minute after dispatch. Ten victims were hospitalized in a chain-reaction crash Saturday in Upper Macungie, authorities said. A 27-year-old Connecticut man behind the wheel of a tractor trailer apparently failed to stop for a line of cars around 2:15 p.m. on Hamilton Boulevard right near Newtown Road, WFMZ reports.
