Alabama Murder Suspect Caught In Stroudsburg, Troopers Say
Pennsylvania State Police say they arrested a man accused of murder in Huntsville, Alabama on Thursday, April 11. Malcolm Jacob Derr, 19, was taken into custody by troopers and US Marshals near 7th and Sarah streets in Stroudsburg, according to a release. Authorities said Derr was wanted in connection with a deadly shooting on March 23. He was taken to the Monroe County Correctional Facility pending his extradition to Alabama.

Estranged Husband Took Uber To PA Home Before Killing 57-Year-Old Wife: DA
A day after police found his wife dead in her Springfield Township home, Kenneth Shea has been charged with first-degree murder, officials said. Elizabeth Shea, 57, was found with "obvious cut wounds to her head and neck" around 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 10, according to the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office. Ash Cooper, who previously went by Joshua Cooper, was sentenced to 15 to 40 years in prison on Thursday, March 21, according to the Bucks County District Attorney's Office.
