Bank Robbed In Allentown While Police Respond To 'Hoax' Threat At Muhlenberg College: APD
An Allentown bank was robbed just after police were called about an armed suspect at Muhlenberg College midday Monday, May 6, according to authorities. Allentown police said they were dispatched to the West Chew Street campus around 12:15 p.m. following an anonymous call. Campus police ordered students and community members to shelter in place. Officers eventually "determined that the call was a hoax," APD said. Gunman Shot Into Crowd Near Allentown's Muhlenberg College: DA
One man is charged with attempted murder after four people were shot near Allentown's Muhlenberg College late on Tuesday night, Feb. 20, prosecutors say. It happened at 1837 West Turner Street around 6:45 p.m., the Lehigh County District Attorney's Office wrote in a release. Authorities have identified the 21-year-old Central Jersey college senior killed in a collision with a dump truck Saturday in Mercer County.
