Whale Washes Up On NJ Beach
A whale washed up along the Delaware Bay in Lower Township, New Jersey, on Tuesday, Dec. 3, authorities said. The incident was first reported around 3 p.m. on Sunset Beach along the 500 block of Sunset Boulevard. Erratic Jet Ski Operator Fled Marine Units At NJ Beach, Cops Say — Now They Want To Find Him
A jet ski operator who jetted away from police when they stopped him on Memorial Day Weekend is now being sought by authorities, who are enlisting the public to help. New Jersey State Police Marine Units stopped the operator of an erratic blue Yamaha around 3:20 p.m. on Saturday, May 25 at the bathing beach in Lower Township in Cape May County, the department said. During the stop, the operator failed to provide his ID and vessel registration, returned to the shore, and then left on foot. NJ Police Officers Caught Stealing Bikes, Prosecutor Says
A pair of police officers in Cape May County were arrested for stealing bicycles, authorities said. Surveillance tapes show Eric Campbell and Austin Craig, both 28 of Lower Township, removing the bikes from an area of Decatur Street on Oct. 8, the Cape May County Prosecutor's Office said. Craig and Campbell are both police officers in Lower Township, authorities said. Campbell and Craig were both issued a summons for theft, a crime of the fourth degree.

Man, 46, Charged In South Jersey Woman's OD Death
A man from South Jersey faces several charges after police say he supplied drugs to a 38-year-old woman from Lower Township who allegedly died of an overdose, authorities said. A separate man also overdosed but regained consciousness after lifesaving measures, according to Lower Township police. Julian C. Atwood, 46, of the Cape May Court House section of Middle Township allegedly fled the scene but was arrested later on a warrant and charged in connection with the woman's fatal overdose, police said.
